OSTEOPATH

Toby’s approach to osteopathy is based on the body as a tangible inroad to our integrated being.

For Toby, this approach to osteopathy is but a mirror of his life: it has always been about the body, movement, balance and wellbeing. Toby brings to his osteopathic practice a diversity of knowledge and experience of the movement of science & the arts.

From his initial training at Australia’s premier dance institution, the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), where Toby attained a Bachelor of Dance and became a professional contemporary dancer, to then becoming a clinical Pilates instructor, it was a natural progression for Toby to advance to studying osteopathy at RMIT Melbourne.  Toby graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters in Osteopathy in 2009.

Whilst living in Melbourne, Toby also became a disciple student of Master Liu Deming, where he gained extensive training in Kungfu, TaiChi & Qigong. Toby maintains this personal training on a daily basis and instructs these arts locally.

Toby endeavours to integrate Western and Eastern sciences and arts into his osteopathic practice and teaching, the flow of body and form, all integral to each other.

As an osteopath, Toby aspires to provide a balanced practice that uses all osteopathic techniques, according to each patient’s presentation and preferences.
